Provide strategic direction and lead continuous improvement on product quality to Asia Pacific and ensure an appropriate and consistent standard of product quality, identifying serious complaints and resolving them, for all products across the Asia Pacific region.

Need for coordination of QA / Food Safety / Regulatory Affair activities of regional Asian Sites, Support to commercial organization. 

Ensure that product quality of imported product meets the agreed specification between producing region and the Asia Pac market and work closely with the producing region to monitor quality and improve where required

Ensure that quality processes and product specifications are robust and aligned with Global Quality Policy, License to Operate, working with in-market teams to embed these. Ensure product quality standards (including HACCP) are set and monitored.

Manage quality and measure the effect (through KPIs) on consumer / customer concerns with challenging targets and implementing improvement programs, ensuring that escalated quality issues are resolved. Quality incidents managed effectively to minimize customer impacts and local crisis teams are supported.

Manage and measure key local supplier performance that affects product quality in market. Central co-ordination of statistics.

Create effective quality processes that achieve compliance to the Quality Global Risk Management Standards.

Provide a consolidated and clear approach to how we do this across the region.

Review progress against plans.

Evaluate outputs from assessments and audit work, implementing improvement programs

Generate learning from post-evaluation, which can be used to develop improved processes across other markets.

Coordinate the education programs in conjunction with HQ.
