Our client is an internationally known producer of food ingredients. The company has been growing steadily over the last decade and is now seeking to significantly accelerate growth.
We are looking to hire a mission-focused, strategic, and process-minded sales professional with contacts at food manufacturing companies in East China. Must have experience selling functional food ingredients and commodity chemicals to manufacturers of the following products: poultry, processed meat, seafood and snack foods sectors as well as the Food services and QSRs.
Major responsibilities and duties:
Daily
• Responsible for increasing sales in East China.
• Support and help develop strong business relationships with all customers, suppliers, service providers and partner offices.
• Manage strategies as they relate to project budgets, timelines, resource allocation, etc
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 8 years minimum experience selling food ingredients is required
• Attributes: Ability to plan, lead and manage for growth; Initiative taker and team builder; Strong organizational skills; Strong time management skills; Strong negotiation skills; Ability to set priorities; Excellent oral, written and personal communication skills is a plus.
• Be able and willing to travel extensively by car or plane to visit with customers
• International experience working with other cultures is desired
