Responsibilities

Interfaces with Quality to ensure production of a quality product

Ensures that production is cost effective

Coordinate, set up and implement standard operating procedures for all production operations

Make sure that products are produced on time and meet customer requirements

Ensure pm’s are performed and completed

Working out the human and material resources needed

Track competencies of subordinates and provide leadership and development required to achieve objectives

Ensure implementation and evolution of safety procedures

Monitor the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed

Implement and drive continuous improvement activities through implementation of change management process and best practices

Optimize resource utilization by implementation of an effective production organization

Work with entire management team to implement the company’s goals

Ensure that safety guidelines are followed

Ensure coaching and development of resources to meet business’ objectives

Supervise and motivate a team of workers

Review the performance of subordinates

Participate in the Quality Management System

Ensure the integration of project start-up’s into production

Adhere to set goals

 

 

Strong mechanical or electrical skills

More than 3 years related experience in Pharmaceutical  or Medical Instrument Industry

Good understanding of plastic injection molding processes

Good understanding of plant and environmental safety

Excellent knowledge of safety practices and procedures around manufacturing equipment

Knowledgeable in ISO13485, ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO18001 (HS&E)

Track record in building and implementing medical engineering and manufacturing process infrastructure
