Responsibilities
• Interfaces with Quality to ensure production of a quality product
• Ensures that production is cost effective
• Coordinate, set up and implement standard operating procedures for all production operations
• Make sure that products are produced on time and meet customer requirements
• Ensure pm’s are performed and completed
• Working out the human and material resources needed
• Track competencies of subordinates and provide leadership and development required to achieve objectives
• Ensure implementation and evolution of safety procedures
• Monitor the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed
• Implement and drive continuous improvement activities through implementation of change management process and best practices
• Optimize resource utilization by implementation of an effective production organization
• Work with entire management team to implement the company’s goals
• Ensure that safety guidelines are followed
• Ensure coaching and development of resources to meet business’ objectives
• Supervise and motivate a team of workers
• Review the performance of subordinates
• Participate in the Quality Management System
• Ensure the integration of project start-up’s into production
• Adhere to set goals
• Strong mechanical or electrical skills
• More than 3 years related experience in Pharmaceutical or Medical Instrument Industry
• Good understanding of plastic injection molding processes
• Good understanding of plant and environmental safety
• Excellent knowledge of safety practices and procedures around manufacturing equipment
• Knowledgeable in ISO13485, ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO18001 (HS&E)
• Track record in building and implementing medical engineering and manufacturing process infrastructure
